Important notice:
Travelers should apply for e-visas months before their travel, always remember to put your full name, double check every information before submitting and recheck e-visa after receiving. The processing time may vary from case to case and there are many e-visas applications rejected.
Applicants normally receive e-visas at the end of the fourth working day (Viet Nam time) if the Viet Nam Immigration Department doesn't require an update or modification to their application.
If an update or modification is required, please allow 4 more working days from the first working day after the applicants rectify their application.
Please note that the Embassy can not assist e-visa application at evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn or evisa.immigration.gov.vn or via a third-party website. We may not reply to questions relating to e-visa applications.

On August 14, 2023, the Government of Viet Nam issued Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP on the application of electronic visas for citizens of countries and territories; international checkpoints allowing foreigners to enter and exit by electronic visas. Accordingly, the Government granted issuing electronic visas to citizens of all countries and territories.
List of international border gates that allow foreigners to enter and exit by electronic visas includes:

This Resolution takes effect from August 15, 2023, replacing Resolution No. 79/NQ-CP dated May 25, 2020 and Resolution No. 60/NQ-CP dated April 27, 2022.
The duration of Viet Nam’s electronic visa is lengthened, from maximum of 30 days with single entry, to maximum of 90 days with single or multiple entry(ies).
According to Article 2 of the Law amending and supplementing the Law on Entry and Exit of Viet Namese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Viet Nam, from August 15 /2023, the term of electronic visa (or e-visa, labeled as “EV”) is lengthened, from maximum of 30 days with single entry, to maximum of 90 days with single or multiple entry(ies).
