TOURIST VISA

For your single-entry, 30-days evisa, please go to the website of the Vietnamese Immigration Department https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn to apply. All enquiries will need to be made directly to this website (or https://xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/en/gioi-thieu/contact) as the Embassy is not related to the process.

For applicants of countries that are not eligible to apply for an electronic visa or for longer than 30-days or multiple-entry visas, please contact a sponsor (travel agency, organisations, business) in Vietnam to handle procedures for you.

WARNING:

There has been a cluster of complaints from both Australian and foreign visitors that the online visa applications via unauthorized and/or untrustworthy websites cause a lot of inconvenience. Sometimes they can not board on the plane or be denied entry and pay a fine because of fake visas.

For reasons as such, travelers and businesses to Viet Nam are strongly recommended to apply for the visas before departure.

Business visa and official/diplomatic visa

Unilateral Visa exemption for following passports holders:

2. Visa exemption for tourists (30 days) who enter Phu Quoc directly through an international airport outside Vietnam or through a Vietnam International Airport but only stay in the transit area and wait for the connecting flight to Phu Quoc.

Certification the form to get Criminal Records Certificate (police check) for foreigners who resided in Viet Nam at the Vietnamese National Center for Criminal Records

Please be advised that the Embassy does not issue Criminal Record (Police Check). We only certify the Form and the passport for you to send to Vietnam to get the Criminal Record.

GOVERNMENT OF VIETNAM HAS DECIDED TO TEMPORARILY HALT VISA ISSUANCE TO FOREIGNERS FOR 30 DAYS, APPLICABLE SINCE 18 MARCH.

THESE ABOVE MEASURES SHALL NOT BE APPLICABLE TO ENTRANTS FOR DIPLOMATIC OR OFFICIAL PURPOSES. ALL ENTRANTS SHALL BE MEDICALLY CHECKED AND HAVE TO COMPLY WITH THE NATION'S COVID-19 PREVENTION AND CONTROL MEASURES.

Đại sứ quán Việt Nam thông báo kể từ ngày 07/3/2020 áp dụng bắt buộc tờ khai y tế đối với tất cả hành khách nước ngoài và Việt nam khởi hành từ các nước tới Việt Nam.
