Thủ tục dành cho công dân Việt Nam (for Vietnamesse)

Công dân Việt Nam đồng thời có quốc tịch Úc, có thể nộp các hồ sơ sau để xin thôi quốc tịch Việt Nam:

1/ 03 Đơn xin thôi quốc tịch Việt Nam (TẢI VỀ TẠI ĐÂY), có dán ảnh 4x6 cm;

2/ 03 Tờ khai lý lịch dùng cho việc thôi quốc tịch Việt Nam (TẢI VỀ TẠI ĐÂY), có dán ảnh 4x6 cm.

     Lưu ý:  Cần ghi rõ địa chỉ thường trú và/hoặc tạm trú trước khi xuất cảnh.            

3/ 03 bản sao (certified copy) hộ chiếu Úc;

4/ 03 bản sao (certified copy) giấy chứng nhận quốc tịch Úc;

5/ Bản chính (original) hộ chiếu Việt Nam;

6/ Bản chính (original) chứng minh thư nhân dân Việt Nam (nếu có);

7/ Bản chụp các giấy tờ khách do cơ quan có thẩm quyền của Việt Nam cấp (nếu có): Giấy khai sinh, hộ khẩu, giấy chứng  nhận đã nộp đủ thuế, Phiếu lý lịch tư pháp,v.v.

8/ 01 bì thư quốc tế bảo đảm (Registered Post International) để Đại sứ quán gửi hồ sơ về Việt Nam;

9/ Lệ phí (trả bằng tiền mặt, Money Order hoặc Bank Cheque ghi người thụ hưởng là "The Embassy of Viet Nam").

Unilateral Visa exemption for following passports holders:

- The UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain (valid until 30th June 2018); and

In order to avoid any risks that may arise when boarding flights or at ports of entry in Viet Nam due to possible miscommunication, travellers are strongly recommended to apply with the Vietnamese Embassies and Consular General Offices in Australia to get visas before leaving BY POST OR IN PERSON.

Entry visas to Viet Nam can be applied BY POST or IN PERSON (by the applicant or anyone on his/her behalf at the Embassy).

By post (Check list): Original passport, form + photo, fee in AUD (Cash, Money Order, Bank Cheque, Company Cheque; Personal Cheque is accepted but not encouraged), return envelop.  Postal Address: PO BOX 98, Mawson ACT 2607, Australia.

In person (check list): Original passport, form+photo, in AUD (Cash, Money Order, Bank Cheque, Company Cheque; Personal Cheque is accepted but not encouraged).

Processing time: 24 hours, ie the next working day (express service for same day with extra fee). 

Attention: when calling us, please remind us your trip is for business/official/diplomatic purpose; If not, we automatically understand you apply for holiday/tourist visa.

Criminal Records Certificate (police check) for foreigners who resided in Viet Nam at the Vietnamese National Center for Criminal Records

Step 1: Certification by the Embassy of Viet Nam of your signature in Criminal Records Form and certification of true copy of your passport;

Step 2: Submission of paper work as required to the Vietnamese competent authority in Viet Nam (Department of Justice of the Province/cities where you resided; or the Hanoi-based National Center for Criminal Records- NCCR) by post or in person to get the Criminal Records Certificate; and

Step 3: Translation into English of the Criminal Records Certificate obtained at Step 2 which can be done at our Embassy.

Step 4:  Submission of the Vietnamese Criminal Records Certificate and its translated version to the relevant Australian authority.
