This significant figure is believed to result from economic recovery and various promotion activities to attract foreign tourists.
More than 4 million arrivals travelled by air, 50,500 arrivals by sea and more than 937,000 by road.

Among 10 markets with the largest number of tourists to Vietnam in 2010, China still took the lead with 905,000 arrivals, up 74.5%.
